Hire costs

  • The Snug costs £10 plus VAT per hour
  • The Hydro Pool costs £50 plus VAT per hour
  • The Coffee Shop and Snug hire costs £60 plus VAT per hour

Numbers and ages of participants

Venue: Aqua Nurture, Knott Lane, Gee Cross, Cheshire, SK14 5BS (Venue refers to the relevant part being hired)
  1. In these terms and conditions ‘we’ and ‘our’ refers to Fun 2 Swim Limited trading as Aqua Nurture and ‘you’ and ‘your’ refers to the person named as the contact for the period of hire on the booking form.
  2. The period of hire is the period from when you are given access to the time that you and your users have left the building. ‘’Your users’’ refers to the participants in the activity for which you are booking the Venue.
  3. The Venue will be opened and closed by Aqua Nurture staff. Any member of our staff may enter the Venue at any time.
  4. Further charges will be applied if hire times are exceeded. If we believe that your use is not appropriate or will bring the reputation of Aqua Nurture into disrepute we cancel your booking at any time and return the hire fees to you. You will not be entitled to any other compensation in these circumstances.
  5. Payment is to be made at the time of booking and no refunds will be made upon cancellation by you unless notice is received in writing to info@aquanurture.co.uk at least 14 days in advance of the date of the booking.
  6. A security bond of £50 may be payable at the time of booking (at our discretion) and this will only be refundable on satisfied inspection of the area used after the event.
  7. Only food and drink supplied by us may be consumed on the premises unless agreed in writing by us upon booking.
  8. Cleaning – you are responsible for setting up and clearing away any equipment that you use. The facility should be left as you found it.
  9. Damage – you are responsible for the cost of repairing any damage caused, replacing furniture or fittings lost or damaged, or for cleaning of the building in the event that unreasonable mess is caused during your hire. If this happens we may retain your security deposit to cover the costs.
  10. Conduct – You are responsible for ensuring that users of the Venue during your period of hire behave responsibly and in an appropriate manner and without causing disruption to other Aqua Nurture users.
  11. Loss of property – We accept no responsibility or liability for any damage or loss of property whilst on the premises. Any property left on the premises will be kept for 7 days and then disposed of if not claimed with no compensation due to you or your users.
  12. Fire Risks – You should make yourself familiar with the fire procedures for the Venue and inform Venue staff at the time of booking of any factor which involves extra fire risks.
  13. Indemnity – You will indemnify us against all claims, demands, actions or proceedings in respect of the default or injury caused by or to any person which shall occur whilst the person is in or upon Venue property or arise from an accident whilst at the premises, or in respect of any loss or damage suffered or sustained by any person. Businesses or organisations hiring the Venue must provide evidence of Public Liability and Employer Liability insurance cover upon booking.
  14. The hirer is not permitted to use any parts of the Venue not subject to the hire save for the common foyer and toilets.
  15. Gambling of any kind is strictly prohibited.
  16. All groups or businesses working with children, young people or vulnerable adults should have their own insurance and staff checks e.g. DBS checks. The Venue takes no responsibility for this and recommends if unsure you seek appropriate advice.
  17. The hirer accepts these terms and conditions on the basis that he/she as named will be held fully responsibility during the hire period.
You must ensure that Your Users are aware of these rules and ensure that they are adhered to
  • Unless You have requested a lifeguard and the availability of a lifeguard has been confirmed for your booking, the following rules apply to Your use of the pool:
    • Any children under the age of 15 and any non-swimmers must be constantly supervised by a responsible adult from the poolside at a ratio of 1:2.
    • Non swimmers must wear suitable floatation devices but this does not negate the need for the aforementioned supervision.
    • Any children under the age of 8 must be accompanied in the pool by a responsible adult in a ratio of 1:1.
  • No outdoor shoes are permitted in the changing rooms or pool hall, pool shoe covers must be worn or shoes removed before entering the changing rooms
  • Users must shower thoroughly before entering the pool
  • Appropriate swimwear must be worn whilst using the pool
  • Play equipment on the poolside may be used provided that it is replaced tidily at the end of the session and any damage is reported immediately to us
  • Users must not stand up on play rafts or jump onto them from the side
  • No diving is allowed
  • Jumping is permitted provided that you ensure that your users can jump in safely
  • The platforms should not be used without prior agreement with us
  • If any fouling occurs (blood, faecal, vomit etc) it must be reported to us immediately and all users must exit the pool and shower thoroughly
  • The panic alarm should be used if emergency assistance is required
  • Babies and children who are not reliably toilet trained must wear the double nappy system prescribed by us (swim nappy plus Splash About Happy Nappy or alternative approved by us)
  • Children should use the toilet before entering the pool
  • The pool may not be used by anyone who has had diarrhoea in the last 14 days or who is suffering from a temperature or communicable disease or anyone who has raw/open wounds
  • Any special needs or disabilities should be notified to us before the booking is completed
  • If any of the following applies for any of your users a medical note is required before they may swim:
    • A doctor has ever said that they have a heart condition and that they should only do physical activity recommended by a doctor
    • They feel pain in the chest when doing physical activity
    • In the past month, have had chest pain when not doing physical activity
    • They lose balance because due to dizziness or ever lose consciousness
    • They are currently prescribed drugs (for example, water pills) for blood pressure or heart condition
    • Bone, joint or muscle problems (for example back, knee or hip) that could be made worse by a change in physical activity
    • There is any other reason why they should not partake in swimming
  • The changing rooms and pool area must be left tidy and in the condition that you found them. Any dirty nappies must be taken home by customers in a nappy sack.
  • If you notice any cloudiness in the water or change in the pool environment please notify us immediately
  • Specialist equipment may only be used with prior agreement with us
